Resignificación de los modelos de familia en la ciudad de Medellín en el siglo XXI : solos y solas y parejas sin hijos

Abstract

RESUMEN: El trabajo de grado RESIGNIFICACIÓN DE LOS MODELOS DE FAMILIA EN LA CIUDAD DE MEDELLÍN EN EL SIGLO XXI: SOLOS Y SOLAS Y PAREJAS SIN HIJOS consiste en una investigación acerca de la reconfiguración paulatina de la familia en la ciudad de Medellín y de los elementos que permiten ver su avance como una tendencia. Partiendo de la pregunta: ¿de qué manera los excesos de información, imágenes e individualismo, fuentes generadoras de la sobremodernidad -según la propuesta de Marc Augé-, han propiciado cambios en las estructuras familiares que tradicionalmente encontrábamos en Medellín?, se recurrirá a la Antropología social, en particular a la Antropología urbana como marco teórico, incluyendo el trabajo de campo y el material bibliográfico, para responderla. Trataré de apoyar el análisis a partir de los estudios que la Antropología Social ha hecho de la familia en los últimos 80 años, y cómo el concepto de familia se ha venido construyendo y deconstruyendo al vaivén de la modernidad, en un contexto específico: la ciudad.

traditionally found in Medellín ?, we will use the Social anthropology, particularly urban anthropology as a theoretical framework, including fieldwork and bibliographic material, to answer it. I will try to support the analysis from the studies that the Social Anthropology has done of the family in the last 80 years, and how the concept of family has been built and deconstructing the swing of modernity, in a specific context: the city.
