Estudio del estado de conservación del arte rupestre del corregimiento El Prodigio, San Luis (Antioquia)

Abstract

RESUMEN: En este trabajo, se realiza el diagnóstico del estado de conservación del arte rupestre presente en tres cavidades kársticas ubicadas en el corregimiento El Prodigio, en el municipio de San Luis, Antioquia, Colombia. Por medio de la contextualización documental acerca de los modos de producción y uso del arte rupestre en la región en épocas prehispánicas; la caracterización geológica de los soportes rupestres, así como el fichaje y registro de los motivos allí emplazados; la creación de modelos tridimensionales con el uso de fotogrametría; y finalmente, el procesamiento de imágenes digitales con el plugin D-Stretch para ImageJ, se logró entender el deterioro de este arte rupestre. Se obtuvo como resultado la proyección gráfica de su estado de conservación, mediante la creación de mapas de deterioro que permitieron describir el grado de riesgo para las manifestaciones identificadas. Con el conocimiento de dicho peligro, se proponen y discuten las medidas que se deben implementar en el manejo del arte rupestre para su protección, conservación, preservación, restauración y puesta en valor.

ABSTRACT: This research makes a deterioration diagnostic of rock art conservation in three karst cavities, located in El Prodigio, San Luis, Antioquia, Colombia. Through documentary contextualization about the manufacture and use of rock art in the area in the prehispanic era; the geological characterization of the rock supports, as well as the registration of the motifs sites; the creation of three-dimensional models by means of photogrammetry; and finally, the processing of digital images with the plugin D-Stretch para ImageJ, it was posible to understand the deterioration of this rock art. Throught the creation of deterioration maps, the graphic projection of its state of conservatión was achieved, which made it posible to describe the los of the identified rock art. With this knowledge, the measures to be implemented in the management of rock art for its protection, conservation, preservation, restoration, and valuation.
