Female Tube Male : geografías de hombres trans para existir en la Internet

Abstract

RESUMEN: Esta navegación tuvo como objetivo identificar en la producción de contenidos de hombres trans en YouTube, especialmente, si es posible entenderlo como una geografía para existir en la diferencia. A través del código “FTM Colombia” seleccionamos a tres hombres trans, dos colombianos y un mexicano, que fueron nuestros referentes de qué cuentan, a quién se dirigen, qué relaciones se produce con su audiencia y la arquitectura de las plataformas, y de qué manera las múltiples materialidades reafirman y expanden su yo, pero también detonan procesos de posibilidad de existir siendo trans, ya sea a través de la Terapia de Reemplazo hormonal y, a veces de cirugías. De ahí que se cuestionará qué es eso de transitar y, cómo histórica y biomédicamente emerge el sujeto transexual y sus derivas genéricas en otros cuerpos lationoamericanos. Finalmente, se plantea el concepto de una “geopolítica corporal del deseo” que señala las múltiples maneras en que somos fragmentadxs y a la vez cómo esta reterritorialización corporal permite otras derivas genéricas.

ABSTRACT: This navigation aimed to identify the production of trans men content on YouTube, especially if it is possible to understand it as a geography to exist in the difference. Through the code “FTM Colombia” we select three trans men, two Colombians and one Mexican, who were our referents of what they tell, who they are addressing, what relations are produced with their audience and the architecture of the platforms, and what In this way, the multiple materialities reaffirm and expand their self, but they also trigger processes of the possibility of existing being trans, either through hormone replacement therapy and sometimes surgeries. Hence it will be questioned what is that of transit and, how historically and biomedically emerges the transsexual subject and its generic drifts in other Latin American bodies. Finally, the concept of a “body geopolitics of desire” is raised that points out the multiple ways in which we are fragmented and at the same time how this reterritorialization of the body allows other gender drifts.
