Las representaciones sociales de género de maestros, maestras, niños y niñas: encuentros y significaciones de quienes habitan la escuela

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este es un ejercicio investigativo interesado en identificar las representaciones sociales de género de maestros, maestras, niños y niñas de la institución educativa Federico Ozanam, al concebir la escuela como un escenario donde se construyen y reproducen las creencias y los estereotipos sobre ser hombre y mujer en la sociedad. Este estudio se realiza buscando describir dichas representaciones en relación a las significaciones que tienen los sujetos acerca del ser mujer y ser hombre que se exteriorizan en la escuela. Para ello, realizamos diversos talleres interactivos donde participaron 120 estudiantes y 60 maestros y maestras. En esta investigación se propuso generar espacios para la reflexión, el análisis y el debate sobre el género a partir de las representaciones sociales que se tejen en torno a él, en el escenario escolar.

ABSTRACT: This is an investigative exercise interested in identifying the social representations of gender of teachers, teachers, children of the Federico Ozanam educational institution. Since it is the school as a stage where they learn and reproduce social representations of gender that accommodate unique ways of being and acting in society. This study approaches the beliefs, ideas, imaginaries, stereotypes, roles and expectations that are presented in school in relation to the meanings that subjects have about being a woman and being a man. To do this, we conducted several interactive workshops where it was attended by 120 students and 60 teachers. It seeks, then, to create spaces for reflection, analysis and debate about gender, constructions and representations that are woven around it in the school setting.
