La vida mala: población civil y la Violencia en Urrao, Antioquia, 1948-1953

Abstract

RESUMEN: la Violencia de mitad de siglo XX marco de manera general todo el devenir histórico del país, y la sociedad del municipio de Urrao no fue la excepción, pues en esta población la Violencia se vivió de manera intensa, los grupos estatales y la población del municipio, se enfrentaron causando gran desconcierto en todo el territorio. esta investigación busco analizar de manera general cuales fueron las condiciones vida de las personas de Urrao durante el periodo de la Violencia, como fue su cotidianidad durante el conflicto. Desde la investigación en archivos y las entrevistas, se buscó conocer como fueron las condiciones sociales, económicas y políticas de Urrao durante el enfrentamiento bipartidista, conociendo las condiciones salubres, alimenticias de las personas y como estas lograron sobrevivir a este periodo.

ABSTRACT: the violence of the mid-twentieth century generally marked the entire historical evolution of the country, and the society of the municipality of Urrao was no exception, because in this population the violence was experienced in an intense way, the state groups and the population of the municipality, fought causing great confusion throughout the territory. This research seeks to analyze in a general way what were the living conditions of the people of Urrao during the period of the Violence, as was their daily life during the conflict. From the investigation in archives and the interviews, it was sought to know how the social, economic and political conditions of Urrao were during the bipartisan confrontation, knowing the healthy and nutritional conditions of the people and how they managed to survive this period.
