Realismo vs. Modernismo en el arte colombiano

Abstract

RESUMEN: En torno a las inquietudes surgidas sobre la conformación de la nación colombiana , aparece en revistas y periódicos del país de finales del siglo XIX, la inquietud por la creación de un arte autóctono. El presente artículo trata de mostar las posiciones estéticas que se tejieron frente a la concepción de un arte realista , modernista e inmpresionista en la polémica por un arte nacional.

ABSTRACT: In questioning the formation of the colombian nacionality, during the latter part of the XIX and the beginning of the XX century several journals and periodicals on the country express the desire for the creation for an autoctonous art. The paper tries to show the aesthetic positions woven around the conception of realistic, modernistic and impressionistic art in the controversy regarding a nacional art
