Mujer Wayuú, tejiendo experiencias en el territorio

Abstract

RESUMEN: En la presente investigación se sistematizaron las prácticas comunicativas que ha implementado la mujer indígena Wayuú; Ediana Montiel Montiel, y que han aportado significativamente en los procesos sociales y comunitarios que ejerce, por lo cual esta investigación puede servir como ruta para que otras mujeres se identifiquen y reconozcan la importancia de estas prácticas comunicativas para la intervención en procesos comunitarios. Se utilizó el método de sistematización de experiencias, abordado por el sociólogo Oscar Jara Holliday: en primer lugar, se recolectó la información, se ordenó y clasificó, luego se interpretó bajo las teorías para finalmente elaborar dos productos comunicativos. En este procesos se identificaron los entornos donde inciden los procesos comunitarios que adelanta la mujer Wayuú Ediana Montiel Montiel y otras mujeres cercanas a su proceso. Entre los principales hallazgos se encontró que el ejercicio de este liderazgo se hace en compañía de otras mujeres, como lo propone el feminismo comunitario con el que Ediana Montiel se reconoce. También se logró identificar que algunas mujeres de su entorno desarrollan procesos de liderazgo entre lo emergente y lo tradicional.

ABSTRACT: This research systematised the communicative practices implemented by the indigenous Wayuú woman Ediana Montiel Montiel, which have made a significant contribution to the social and community processes she carries out, so that this research can serve as a route for other women to identify and recognise the importance of these communicative practices for intervention in community processes. The method of systematisation of experiences was used, approached by the sociologist Oscar Jara Holliday: first, the information was collected, ordered and classified, then interpreted under the theories to finally elaborate two communicative products. In this process, the environments where the community processes carried out by the Wayuú woman Ediana Montiel Montiel and other women close to her process have an impact were identified. Among the main findings, it was found that the exercise of this leadership is done in the company of other women, as proposed by the community feminism with which Ediana Montiel recognises herself.
