Artesanos del Lenguaje : un encuentro entre la escritura y la labor artesanal en la Universidad

Abstract

RESUMEN: Artesanos del Lenguaje: un encuentro entre la escritura y la labor artesanal en la Universidad, es la aventura que emprendemos hacia descubrir los hilos que nos conectan como maestras-escritoras con el Artesano, esta figura medieval que se caracteriza por el compromiso con el trabajo y la disciplina de su quehacer. Ponemos de manifiesto nuestra experiencia con la escritura y sus dinámicas dentro de la Universidad, al igual que nuestro transitar por lo que constituyó el taller de escritura Artesanos del Lenguaje, una experiencia que se tejía alrededor de la imagen y la forma. Proponemos pensar en una escritura artesanal, donde la forma, o el cuerpo de las palabras, sea cultivada y trabajada como una artesanía. Este trabajo es una oda a la escritura, al trabajo en el que cuesta encontrar las palabras correctas, a lo divertido que es jugar con las letras, cambiarlas de lugar, mancharlas, tacharlas, pintarlas, darles forma.

ABSTRACT: Language Craftsmen: Convergences between writing and handcrafted work at University, is the adventure we take on towards discovering the threads that connect us as teacher-writers with the craftsman, this medieval figure that’s characterized by the compromise with their labour and discipline of their task. We put at display our experience with writing and it’s dynamics inside the University of Antioquia, as well as our path through what constituted the writing workshop Artesanos del Lenguaje, an experience that threaded around image and shape. We propose to think of an artisanal writing, where the shape, or body, of words is cultivated and elaborated like a craft. This paper is an ode to writing, to the work it takes to find the right words, the fun there is in playing with the letters, switch them up, stain them, strike them, paint them, give them shape.
