Sueños en La Cruz : una apuesta desde la educación popular

Abstract

RESUMEN: La investigación se llevó a cabo en la Biblioteca Comunitaria Sueños de Papel del barrio La Cruz, ubicada en la comuna 3 de Medellín, la cual llega al barrio desde el año 2016 con la intención de aportar al sector un espacio cultural, artístico y a la vez educativo en el que cada habitante pudiera encontrar una oportunidad para acceder a realidades llenas de arte y conocimiento, en la que ellos/as serían los/as protagonistas de su historia. Esta investigación se fundamentó desde el paradigma Socio Crítico, que a partir de una sistematización de experiencias, permitió conocer el contexto, los actores y los procesos históricos del barrio La Cruz mediante técnicas de recolección y generación de información como la revisión documental, observación participante, entrevistas semiestructuradas y talleres grupales que propiciaron el posterior análisis para el cumplimiento de los objetivos investigativos. De este modo, en el presente documento se analizan las contribuciones de la educación popular a los procesos de defensa del territorio y construcción de paz gestados desde Sueños de Papel; los resultados surgen desde las voces de las y los líderes comunitarios que han aportado al tejido social en este sector y de las lideresas de la biblioteca Sueños de Papel y los niños, niñas y jóvenes, pues fueron quienes le dieron sentido a esta investigación, ya que desde sus subjetividades nos permitieron comprender la huella que este lugar ha dejado en el barrio a partir de la construcción colectiva.

ABSTRACT: The research was carried out at the Sueños de Papel Community Library in the La Cruz neighborhood, located in the commune 3 of Medellin, which has been in the neighborhood since 2016 with the intention of providing the sector with a cultural, artistic and at the same time educational in which each inhabitant could find an opportunity to access realities full of art and knowledge, in which they would be the protagonists of their history. This research was based on the Socio-Critical paradigm, which, based on a systematization of experiences, allowed us to know the context, the actors and the historical processes of the La Cruz neighborhood through information collection and generation techniques such as documentary review, participant observation, semi-structured interviews and group workshops that led to the subsequent analysis for the fulfillment of the research objectives. In this way, this document analyzes the contributions of popular education to the processes of defense of the territory and construction of peace developed from Dreams of Paper; The results emerge from the voices of the community leaders who have contributed to the social fabric in this sector and the leaders of the Sueños de Papel library and the children and young people, as they were the ones who gave meaning to this research, since that from their subjectivities allowed us to understand the mark that this place has left in the neighborhood from the collective construction.
