Interculturalidad en tiempos de pandemia : un encuentro de experiencias y saberes propios en los procesos educativos en Unguia. Reflexiones para una educación comunitaria y decolonial.

Abstract

RESUMEN: En este proyecto investigativo tuvimos la oportunidad de acercarnos a la región del Urabá donde habitan diferentes comunidades que conviven en el territorio. La migración que se ha dado en la región, ha generado que en el municipio de Unguía se encuentren comunidades negras y afros, indígenas y colonos. Comprender la interculturalidad como concepto y como proceso permite ver las tensiones, intercambios y diálogos que existen entre estas comunidades, en cuanto a prácticas, usos y saberes propios. La educación permite un fortalecimiento del encuentro intercultural donde a pesar de las diferentes disputas y conflictos que se han dado históricamente en el territorio, existen las posibilidades del encuentro con el otro en el momento de afrontar la crisis mundial generada por el Covid-19. Los saberes propios y experiencias al ser compartidos e intercambiados permiten el reconocimiento de las diferencias y el enriquecimiento de los procesos sociales que se han venido dando en el territorio.

ABSTRACT: In this research project we had the opportunity to approach the region of Urabá, where different communities coexist in this territory. The migration that has occurred in the region has generated an encounter of black and Afro, indigenous and settler communities in the municipality of Unguía. Understanding interculturality as a concept and as a process allows us to see the tensions, exchanges and dialogues that exist between these communities in terms of practices, uses and own knowledge. Education allows a strengthening of the intercultural encounter where, despite the different disputes and conflicts that have historically occurred in the territory, there are possibilities of meeting with the other when facing the global crisis generated by Covid-19. Indigenous knowledge and experiences, when shared and exchanged, allow the recognition of differences and the enrichment of the social processes that have been taking place in the territory.
