Percepción de los estilos parentales y su relación con la autonomía en un grupo de adolescentes matriculados en centros de educación media y superior del municipio de Puerto Berrio Antioquia

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo establecer la relación entre la percepción de los estilos parentales con la autonomía en un grupo de adolescentes que cursan undécimo grado y aquellos en formación superior en el municipio de Puerto Berrio. Se utilizan los instrumentos de Escala para la evaluación del estilo educativo de padres y madres de adolescentes, de los autores Delgado, Parra, Sánchez y López (2007) y el Cuestionario de Autonomía, el cual permite evaluar su nivel en los adolescentes desde la dimensión social, emocional y conductual construido por Andrade, Bañol y Quintero (2021) los cuales se aplicaron a un grupo de 90 adolescentes, conformado por 53 mujeres y 37 hombres matriculados en centros de educación media y superior del municipio de Puerto Berrío, con edades que oscilan entre los 16 a 20 años. Los resultados obtenidos por los adolescentes permiten vislumbrar que en ellos existe una percepción inclinada a un estilo parental Democrático, pues las dimensiones Afecto y comunicación, Promoción de autonomía, Revelación y Control psicológico fueron evaluados positivamente por los adolescentes.

ABSTRACT: The present work aims to establish the relationship between the perception of parental styles with autonomy in a group of adolescents who are in eleventh grade and those in higher education in the municipality of Puerto Berrio.
