La cocina al cuidado de la vida : narrativas de las mamitas en sus cocinas en la ciudad de Medellín

Abstract

RESUMEN: La investigación “La cocina al cuidado de la vida: narrativas de mamitas en sus cocinas”, presenta la industria alimentaria como un factor que a los seres humanos nos desteje de la comida en relación con La Madre Tierra, asunto vital en el cuidado de la vida. Para ello, se plantea reconocer los aprendizajes derivados de las narraciones respecto a los saberes y los sabores de la comida, por parte de un grupo de mamitas de la ciudad de Medellín. Diversas investigaciones relacionan algunas cuestiones respecto al cuidado de la vida, sin embargo, en ellas no se evidencia la importancia de la relación cocina–comida–mamitas como un asunto del cuidado de sí, del otro y lo otro. De ahí, que la triada antes mencionada y el cuidado, en términos de la relación armónica con la vida, junto con el aprendizaje sean el horizonte conceptual que transita el proyecto. Así pues, la metodología que se abordó está situada dentro de la narrativa biográfica, entretejida con la Pedagogía de la Madre Tierra, “pedagogía del vientre”. La narrativa, atravesada por las historias de vida de las mamitas; los círculos de palabra, como una forma de conversar y situarnos sin jerarquías; y las cocinadas, como el hacer para el compartir que facilita el encuentro de saberes y sabores; ayudó a desvelar las formas de cuidar la vida desde el estar-siendo y haciendo con la comida por las mamitas.

ABSTRACT: The research "The kitchen in care of life: narratives of mamitas in their kitchens", presents the food industry as a factor that weans us human beings from food in relation to Mother Earth, a vital issue in the care of the life. For this, it is proposed to recognize the learning derived from the narrations regarding the knowledge and flavors of food, by a group of mamitas from the city of Medellín. Various investigations relate some issues regarding the care of life, however, they do not show the importance of the kitchen-food-mamitas relationship as a matter of caring for oneself, the others and the other. Hence, the aforementioned triad and care, in terms of the harmonic relationship with life, together with learning, is the conceptual horizon that the project travels. Thus, the methodology that was addressed is located within the biographical narrative, interwoven with the Pedagogy of Mother Earth, "pedagogy of the womb." The narrative, crossed by the life stories of the mamitas; the word circles, as a way of conversing and situating ourselves without hierarchies; and cookouts, such as making for sharing that facilitates the meeting of knowledge and flavors; help to reveal the ways of caring for life from being-while-being and the cooking of food by mamitas.
