XYZ : gemelos idénticos y la construcción de su identidad en el cine de ficción

Abstract

RESUMEN: ¿Cómo se ha caracterizado la relación entre gemelos idénticos en el cine de ficción? Esta pregunta no solo fue el puntapié que inició una búsqueda que en principio indagaba por cómo se nos ve a los gemelos desde fuera, cómo se nos retrata en las películas y según estas cómo se cree que es nuestra relación de hermanos, sino que terminó necesitando responder cómo me veo yo mismo cómo gemelo y cómo siento que es la relación con mi hermano, y además al final hizo una claridad que me hizo entender que la búsqueda en la que estaba sumergido, más que académica, era una búsqueda personal.

ABSTRACT: What has been the characterization of the relationship between identical twins in narrative films? This question was not just the kick-starter of a search that, in its beginning, wondered about how twins were seen from the outside, how we were portrayed in films, and, according to those, how our relationship as siblings was believed to be like, but ended up having to answer how I see myself as a twin, and how I think my relationship with my brother is like, and, finally, got me to understand that the search I was undertaking was not an academic search, but a personal one.
