El derecho a la educación de los niños y las niñas de primera infancia de la vereda La Aldea de San Sebastián de Palmitas, 2021

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este trabajo da cuenta de la investigación cualitativa desarrollada en el marco de la Licenciatura en Pedagogía Infantil, en la cual, mediante un estudio de caso, se buscó comprender el estado de realización del derecho a la educación inicial de los niños y niñas entre los 3 y los 5 años de edad de la vereda La Aldea de San Sebastián de Palmitas (Medellín), esto desde una perspectiva hermenéutica crítica. Asimismo, durante el estudio se tuvo en cuenta las voces de todos los actores implicados en la garantía y disfrute de este derecho, con el fin de llegar a entender de manera holística la particularidad y complejidad de este caso. De este modo, se realizó una revisión documental sobre la manera en la que se ha venido consolidando la educación inicial como un derecho fundamental, teniendo en cuenta las leyes y decretos que la reglamentan y los programas que se han puesto en práctica para garantizar este derecho a todos los niños y niñas. Sin embargo, en las observaciones, entrevistas y talleres realizados con la comunidad de La Aldea, se identificaron varias tensiones entre lo que se propone en las políticas públicas y su implementación, especialmente en las zonas rurales. A partir de esto, se concluyó que se requiere un compromiso real por parte del gobierno para construir y consolidar un país que piense las escuelas rurales desde el conocimiento de las realidades que se viven allí, para lograr así la educación que soñamos.

ABSTRACT: This paper gives account of the qualitative research developed in the framework of the Bachelor’s Degree in Children’s Pedagogy, in which, through a case study, an attempt was made to understand the state of realization of the right to initial education of children between 3 and 5 years old in the village of La Aldea of San Sebastián de Palmitas (Medellín), this from a critical hermeneutical perspective. In addition, during the study, the voices of all the actors involved in the guarantee and enjoyment of this right were taken into account, in order to understand holistically the particularity and complexity of this case. Thereby, a documentary review was carried out on the way in which initial education has been consolidating as a fundamental right, taking into account the laws and decrees that regulate it and the programs that have been implemented to guarantee this right to all children. However, in the observations, interviews and workshops carried out with the community of La Aldea, several tensions were identified between what is proposed in public policies and their implementation, especially in rural areas. From that, it was concluded that a real commitment from the government is required to build and consolidate a country that thinks about rural schools from the knowledge of the realities that are lived there, to thus achieve the education we dream of.
