Cabalgando en la manigua, un wéstern colombiano

Abstract

RESUMEN: Esta tesis de investigación-creación tiene como propósito la escritura de un guion de cortometraje Wéstern en Córdoba, Colombia. Para esto utiliza las instituciones como categoría de análisis que posibilita una comparación entre el contexto real del departamento colombiano y el universo ficcional de este género cinematográfico. La indagación por una forma narrativa pertinente para narrar este territorio y el proceso de investigación sobre las reglas formales, legítimas informales e ilegales, convergen en la escritura de un Universo Narrativo propio en el que se instaura la historia y en el hallazgo de la décima como metodología de escritura personal para desarrollar el guion.

ABSTRACT: This purpose is to write a Western short-film script that takes place in Córdoba, Colombia. The script uses social and governmental institutions as categories of analysis that allow comparisons between the fictional universe within the films of the Western genre and the real context of an existing region in Colombia. The research of both contexts (the one of the Western films and Córdoba´s) under the scope of formal, illegal and informal rules, laws and institutions, led to the writing of a Narrative Universe where the script story takes place. The Décima was used as a personal writing methodology to develop the scrip.
