Reflexiones sobre las experiencias y sentires de estudiantes de Licenciatura en Pedagogía Infantil de la Universidad de Antioquia sobre su proceso de formación en la práctica musical con bebés

Abstract

RESUMEN: Los niños son escolarizados cada vez a más temprana edad y, los licenciados en pedagogía infantil cuentan con enormes vacíos conceptuales, teóricos y prácticos cuando se trata del trabajo con bebés. A su vez, la música (área que se trabaja y explora muy poco en los planes de estudio de la universidad) cuenta con diversas investigaciones que corroboran su importancia en el desarrollo de habilidades en los primeros años de edad, pero el uso de esta en las acciones pedagógicas carece de una correcta implementación y reflexión, tal vez, por temores o desconfianza de los licenciados en relación a sus habilidades musicales. El objetivo del trabajo fue comprender las experiencias de las maestras en formación de licenciatura en pedagogía infantil sobre su práctica pedagógica en el campo musical con bebés y, a su vez, buscó responder a interrogantes que giraron en torno a los aprendizajes, los sentires y el lugar que se otorgan a sí mismas frente al trabajo musical con bebés. El trabajo se llevó a cabo bajo la investigación cualitativa y tipo de estudio hermenéutico fenomenológico, y centró su atención en las experiencias, emociones, tensiones y los saberes vivenciados por las estudiantes durante su proceso pedagógico- musical. Finalmente, se concluyó que después del proceso brindado a partir de la práctica pedagógica, las participantes adquirieron nuevos aprendizajes, sensibilidad, ganas de aprender e investigar más, y desarrollaron competencias y habilidades en el campo musical con bebés que enriquecen sus experiencias pedagógicas cotidianas; sin embargo, cabe aclarar que la música necesita de más espacios de investigación y práctica que permitan experimentarla e interiorizar para que de esta forma, se puedan pensar experiencias significativas para los bebés.

ABSTRACT: Children are enrolled in school at an increasingly early age and there are huge conceptual, theoretical and practical gaps for early childhood pedagogy graduates when it comes to working with infants. At the same time, music (an area that is rarely worked and explored in university curricula) has several investigations that corroborate its importance in the development of skills in the early years, but the use of music in pedagogical actions lacks a correct implementation and reflection, perhaps due to fear or distrust of graduates in relation to their musical skills. The objective of this work is to understand the experiences of teachers in training for a degree in early childhood pedagogy about their pedagogical practice in the musical field with babies and, at the same time, seeks to answer questions that revolve around learning, feelings and the place they give to themselves. The work is carried out under the qualitative research and phenomenological hermeneutic type of study, on the experiences, emotions, tensions and the knowledge lived by the students during their pedagogical-musical process. And, it concludes manifesting aspects such as that after the process provided from the pedagogical practice, the participants acquired new learning, sensitivity, desire to learn and investigate more, competencies and skills in the musical field with babies that enrich their daily pedagogical experiences; however, it should be clarified that music needs more research and practice spaces that allow to experience it and internalize it so that in this way, meaningful experiences for babies can be thought of. Based on the above, it is recommended that the university should open training spaces such as those that the participants had the opportunity to experience, which were educational but, above all, full of experiences, that allow them to acquire musical skills, causing the place in which they generally place themselves and music to change, while at the same time they appropriate tools that enrich their daily pedagogical work.
